Of my current knowledge about the world of sequencing, newbie is an understatement.
However, I've managed to aquire an XP-60 and Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. I'm wondering what some of the experts think about the pros and cons of using a software vs. the onboard sequencer.
I know I'm going to have to buckle down and learn one or the other.
Currently, I see that the onboard is cumbersome and looks tedious to learn whereas cakewalk seems pretty simplistic to get started.
However, it sure is nice to just stay at the synth when recording and not flip back and forth.
So what do you experts use?
Thanks
Justin
