After many years of never using MIDI files, I want to learn more about them. I have only the most basic understanding of them.

What are some suggested sites to purchase them?

On a Tyros 2, could they be saved as part of a registration, or are they accessed via the "song" functions?

I understand you can mute parts, adjust the volumes, etc. Are those type changes also "savable" or do you need to repeat any edits every time you use the file?

I've been pretty anti-MIDI but I think I should have learned a bit more about this stuff...
