Close to year ago I reported a flickering screen on my Tyros 3 in this thread (ABOVE).

You replied (in the previous post) that you hadn't heard of the problem and gave me a list of repair centers.

Unfortunately, every repair center I spoke to required a minimum of two weeks to address any problem. This made it impossible for me to repair the problem until this month since I've taken a vacation.

The problem is that the nature of the flickering screen is that it is erratic. Sometimes it will happen four or five times in a single night, other times I won't have a problem for a week.

The repair center I gave the keyboard to (HEAVY ELECTRONICS AND SECURITY, INC (718)946-9000), cannot seem to see the problem so they have done nothing about it. This is a major problem for me since my warranty is up in a few days (even though I reported the problem a number of times on Synthzone - the first almost 12 months ago.)

I will also point out that I've used the keyboard in many halls and studios and I know that the problem is definitely not with the electricity as the above-mentioned repair center just tried to suggest to me.

I've been a loyal customer of Yamaha and have owned every flagship Yamaha since the PSR 8000. This is the first time I've had a major problem, but I would like it to be taken care of.

Please advise me as to what I can do.
