By the way, meanwhile I tried another PC and I updated to serial Driver Version 3.1....same result. By the way, believe me I'm and engineer and IT specialist. If I say, I tried everything possible, I tried :-)
I also checked the COM1 with the serial Interface of my Korg NX5R and voila...this thing works! If Roland is not able to deliver the same solution as Korg then...
