Russ Lay-PROUD RED HAT SURVIVOR!

The place opened at 12:00. The lady putting on the event was banging on the door at 11:00, even though she was told to show up at 12:00.

Last second requests for religious hymns and The doughboy jingle for a "mock" funeral for the Pilsberry Doughboy (died when his wife had a BUN in the oven).

The ladies were fine. Wouldn't have touched the job, but the place wanted the Saturday afternoon buiness. Tips were OK-$55.00 for 25 people. Pay-$150.00 for the hour. Equipment was already there.

The host was a mess-ordering everyone around, yelling requests and generally being a pain in the ass. They are not welcome at the restaurant again and I politely turned down several more events.

But, hey, I survived. Just not interested in doing any more. Kind of like playing for an Assisted Living Center. Don't do those, either.

Did wear my red captains hat, though.
