Why all this User area bull is necessary I have no idea..

Roland's read either off the internal 50MB flashRAM drive or off the card slot (where I have a 4GB card hanging) all instantaneously. No need whatsoever for any 'user area' to load them into before they become available. The Music Finder (Assistant, in Rolandspeak) can address any style in any area of the memory instantly...

Isn't this how all arrangers are SUPPOSED to work?

I realize that styles with custom samples will take time to load. But if they simply use onboard sounds, edited or not, they should come in instantly, IMO.

And everyone keeps calling the G70 'dated' technology
