I found the same problem. I bought my VA7 secondhand a few months ago.
The Yahoo VA7 group doesn't appear to do many posts anymore.
I also joined the following http://www.daytonamusic.com/rag/download.htm
only found the occasional post.

Bit dissapointing on the whole.
