Interesting to see that you are also in to ancestry searching! I have been researching my own ancestors for several years now and it's sometimes amazing what we can find out using all the computer technology which is available these days.
Your comment about originating from Prussia reminds me of an incident when I was in Germany a few years ago (actually in Lippstadt). I was looking into a shop window with a friend and was speaking to him in German. An elderly lady overheard me and remarked to me that my accent was "ganz wie ein Preusser". I was very proud of that remark as I remember that my German Teacher told me that the proudest German language is spoken in Prussia!!
