I've had my 800 for 2 days, but I think this works for you too:

1. Select the style until it pops up to its own screen.
2. Exit out of there.
3. Look at your UP1, etc choices.

If you want to change UP1:

1. Select the default UP1
2. Select any other sound from the board - it should now replace the default.
3. Exit out of there
4. Select the drop down window and select "save the existing style"

That will change the style permanently. You cannot rename the style.

The OTS works the same way, but you have to rename the instrument and replace it to the default OTS - very simple too.

If you want to save that style, associated with a song:

1. Select the newly saved style
2. Go to songbook
3. Go to the Edit 1 page and save changes as a new song
4. Go to the Edit 2 page and save changes there also.
5. This should now ask you to replace the exiting? Yes
6. Now transfer it into your custom list.

Simple really once you get it down.
