This is about me, my voice my keyboard and the type of music I play. And that does make a big difference.

The JBL 10” are fantastic for there size. Good bottom, beautiful mids and fair highs. When pushed too much they become very bassy. For lour volume you must add a sub. My voice sounds great, full and round and the keyboard is very acceptable. The Mackie powered 15 would probably be my choice if it were not for the weigh and price. I walk into the job with one in each hand and that’s so good.

There are many that like the X5500 – good bottom and clear highs. The JBL’s are warmer, the mids and great, but not as strong. I have tried my JBL’s with the X5500 sub – fantastic. My search --- to get a system that sound as good as my Bose earphones. (Dream)
