I certainly hope if Roland rethinks the floppy...they will still keep it..I for one appreciate a floppy drive..In fact my last desktop bugged me that it didn't have a floppy drive[had to get a USB floppy drive]..Even my high end laptop ..besides fire wire also has a floppy drive...or I wouldn't have bought it..
The floppy is so easy to preview styles and SMF's from the PC to my G70 or any other Roland arranger I have owned...
If you don't want to use it ..fine but with an actual cost of around $25...I want it....It doesn't interfere with the USB transfer to and from the PC and the G70 PC card...
Same thing with midi in/out/thru...just because USB midi interface works...better keep the midi connectors if you want me to buy the keyboard...
