Most manufactures wont let you plug in third party products without prior approval.
Also remember that some video cameras don’t have any audio inputs, or if they do, they relay on auto volume adjust. (Not ideal)

you certainly are right, but we are talking about a ~$4000 piece of keyboard here, not a "my mother bought it for Christmas" Bontempi.
It wasn't profesionally arranged, but it wasn't something done on a garage either.

I am not trying to win an argument here, I was saying exactly the same things when Domenik of Mediastation fame was showcasing his company's gem, using handheld cameras (no tripods) and using on-camera mics, in an uncontrolled sound environment. It was doing more harm than good. Perhaps something to do with Italian companies?
