I'm not an owner but I did have a chat last year with a Yamaha demonstrator at the T2 launch party to which I was invited.

As I recall everything the T2 can run anything created for a T1 without modification.

And I've just had a look at the "connecting your speakers" sections of the T1 and T2 manuals, and the speaker connections look identical, so you should be OK there as well.
