Hi Andrea, I don't have a U-20, but I do have a D-70. The D-70 is somewhat of a cross between the U-20 and the D-50. If your keyboard is set up the same as mine, then the card you are using should go into the PCM card slot, not the Ram card slot.

You should be able to access the sounds from the front panel with a button that reads something like "PCM Card". You can not access that particular card using the Ram card slot because that is for actual patches. The card you have is tones to use to create your own patches.

I believe this to be the case, but I have never worked with the U-20, as I have said. It is my understanding that the D-70 and U-20 were very similar in appearance and functionality with respect to the PCM samples.

I think the card is correct. It should read something like "SN-U110-04". If the card doesn't say something like that, then you may have an incompatible card.
