f.y.i. I don't think I've ever seen a recent 2.5" notebook hard drives that was thicker than 12.7mm.

Also, just in case you get collared by a salesman on commission, note that there are some new high-performance "Momentum" hard discs made by Seagate. I don't think the extra zip will make much difference when used in a keyboard , so save you money and get a "normal" 4200 rpm one.
