For three teirs - the all time best is still the old Ultimate tube stands. They take up more space, take more time to tear down, and look dated - but they are very adjustable, really lightweight and hold everything in it's place. You can add mic stand booms to them, and mount small monitor speakers on them too. I have been experimenting with TWO double braced X stands in an "L" shape. One in front of me and one to the side. If you have the room - this is a cool setup. Nice visual and easy to get around inside. All the wires are bundled up close, and it gives me another "drunk" barrier!
