Perhaps you do get accused of arrogance quite often...but that's okay buddy, I still like you.
If Roland wasn't smart enough to "educate" their CS users, that could be part of the reason, but I seriously doubt if it is the only one...the feature just wasn't that useful to the average user, or for a lot of pros either.
You must remember...I did demos for Roland for several years, as well as with Yamaha whilst I worked in a large music store chain...so I do have more insider information than you think.
Showing the CS was always a part of the demo.
My sympathy goes out to people like you, that needed/wanted/used it, but sadly, judging by the meagre support it got on this forum, it has gone the way of the dodo.
Key feel is subjective...the PSR range sells like gangbusters in spite of you and the minuscule number of people who seem not to like it...the CS was just another flop for Roland...partly their own fault, as you point out, and partly because it just wasn't all that useful IMO.
