I used to subscribe to that thinking until an electronics repair man told me to rip out every third prong except ONE in a power strip. Ever hear of such a thing?
I never had to act on it, because I don't have the problems that others mention about hum, buzzing, etc.(Crossed fingers)but I AM curious if this is a viable detour on Hum Highway.
