RicRob: MANY thanks for coming forward and introducing yourself. It's great to discover so many friends here from the old Technics Canada forum days. Also interesting to find that we both own the same 2 KBs. I started taking the PSR2000 out gigging within a week after I bought it. Though I still prefer the KN5000 when playing in full keyboard mode, I think the PSR2000 excels with its outstanding 'live' acoustic instrument sounds and lightweight versatility. It seems that Technics styles excel in swing jazz, orchestration (strings), and big band latin, while Yamaha focus' more in contemporary pop/country styles. Funny, I seem to be adding more and more country tunes to my repetoire lately. RicRob: I'd be really interested in hearing 'your' impressions between these two keyboards. Though I'm pretty happy with my current setup, I'm still anxious to find out what the Technics KN7000 and Yamaha 10000 brings. Great to hear that you are sharing your gift of music and bringing joy to people's lives. Hope you will consider sharing your music with us here too.
