I've just got this overall feeling that Yamaha isn't going to make a 76-note pro arranger again ever, and even if they did I wouldn't trust them to support it. Yamaha knows they failed to support their 9000 Pro at every turn and angered a lot of users... they seem to want to sweep that incident under the carpet. All of the other pro arrangers like the Pa1XPro and the G70 seem like they are trying to catch up to the extinct 9000 Pro. Yamaha reps have called the 9000 Pro "a failed experiment" in private emails and since their reorganization which further seperated their pro and hom keyboard departments, I see the chances of a new pro arranger from Yamaha to be slimmer than ever. The next-generation Tyros will likely be a minor upgrade and will still have 61 keys.
