Yes, Yamaha definitely is missing the boat when it comes to chording. I had no trouble with my Korg or Roland. To play a C major seventh on the 2000, I have to play all the notes of the chord; on the Korg I only needed to play B-C-E. I've gotten used to the Yamaha chords, but I don't like them.
