If you're going to hook up to an 8 track digital recorder, I strongly suggest a keyboard that has L and R output! Headphone jacks don't cut it when using digital recorders.. As other members mentioned you might want to look at something like the Casio WK3000. I'm not sure if that has L and R output though. The reason I say that about the output is because you'll really notice a degration--if that's even a word of sound quality. I have a PSR-550 and it uses the headphone jack as output. I have a Zoom MRS-4 digital 4 track, and the sound really goes down hill when you use a keyboard that uses the headphone jack for the output..
