One question that I have is about the left voice function. I like being able to freeze the left voice when I change OTS. Will I still be able to do this with the chip upgrade?

I am still so bummed out that Yamaha would do that. It's so disrespectful and deceptive. Well, I guess they're paying for it in the end, because it's going to be a lot more expensive for them to pay a repair center to change chips than it would have been to put in flash memory in the first place. They are going to lose customers for sure too. Two years from now, when I'm ready to buy my next arranger, I'm going to lean toward something non-Yamaha.
