Good, my password is working. I love my PSR 740! My biggest problem with it was that you could only store 3 user styles at a time. So the improvements made to the keyboard seem to be:

1. Many more user styles
2. Better sequencing capabilities
3. More watts per channel on the speakers. The PSR 2000 will have 12 watts per channel and I think the PSR 740 only has 6.
4. Some added voices that the PSR 9000 has.
5. More detailed screen
6. Better karaoke capabilities
7. 3 intros and 3 endings plus break as opposed to 2 intros and 2 endings without break

The only disadvantage over the past keyboard is that you apparently have to go into a touch menu to choose which intro you want to use. Maybe it's easier than it looks when examining the buttons.

I would love to own an SD1. It sounds like a monsterously wonderful machine. If it had only 61 keys and speakers and weighed less than 35 lbs, I would think of buying one for gigging. I can't justify that price for my home studio, however, since I'm not making any money on my songs yet.
