Just for Fun
In case you didn't get your answer - I'll have a go at it.....
The SD1 has an cymbal auto-crash function which applies only to the ends of Intros and Fills - On the other hand - When you retrigger a pattern - through any method..starting with a cymbal crash would depend on what is programmed in your style (you could program one in in pattern edit)
The Key Start and Key Stop button functions:
Key Start Alone - play starts at key press and never stops until the arranger is stopped
Key Stop Alone - play starts at key press but if the key strike was of short duration (set in utility) - the arranger stops when you pick up your hand - but will continue if you hold it down for longer than the short duration time parameter. The next time you strike the keys - the same situation exists and the pattern retriggers on every stop.
Key Start and Key Stop together - the arranger starts when you press and hold a key - but stops whenever you let up no matter how long you have held it. The pattern is retriggered each time
Does that sound right??
