I do not know if you have found the answer to your question yet. In case you have not, here is some information for you. Way back in 1968, Walter Carlos and Robert Moog worked up the music that made us the popular animals we are today. It was by far not the first electronic music, but it was the first to gain mass public acceptance. It was 'Switched on Bach'. Robert went on to produce some of the best electronic music keyboards ever made and Walter went on to become 'Wendy' and compose some of the masterpeices in electronic music. 'Clockwork' was one of them. Yes it was one of the first Moogs. I think that electronic music would have eventually become popular but the team of Wendy and Robert accelerated our craft by at least 30 years.
