over here private sale, for a current model, the most you can usually get for a second hand keyboard is somewhere between 35% to 50% of recommended retail.
For instance VA7 had recommended retail of $6,000 AUD. I bought my friends 2 year old VA7 for $2,000 AUD , I sold it 6 months later for $1,700 AUD & 6 months after that , I saw it on Ebay for $1,300. I was sorely tempted to buy it back , but missed out.

Tyros 1 had a recommended retail of just over $7,000 AUD. Just before the Tyros 2 arrived on the scene, saw a couple of Tyros 1's on Ebay for just over $3,000. Didn't sell.

My 2 year old 9000pro I only managed to get about 40 to 45% retail value.
