Roy-Andr�... Altho I haven't used mp3 backings, I've heard others who have with very good results. Have you tried using a higher bitrate, say 192 or even 320 kbps? That should definitely improve your sound quality. Beyond that, since OSP also supports wav files, have you tried that route?
