1966 here too. My dad was getting me an Ace Tone, but it never arrived at the store. We went in and there was a grey and black MiniCompact and a red and black Compact. I was ready to settle for the mini, but dad bought me the compact. I kept it for 15 years and sold it to a friend after I had spray painted it all black and rigged a leslie fast-slow switch to the front panel. Great keyboard! I had pedals with it too.
