Typical night--people pay me to come to a party, PLUS I get to play and sing.
I drove and hour or so to Longview, TX, set up the Tyros and Hank The Lurker's Barbetta Sona 31C powered speakers and entertained all the nice folks at the American Legion.
After Old Lang Syne they brought out a HUGE U.S. flag and we all sang "God Bless The USA".
Then we ate black-eyed peas, greens and ham for good luck. I passed on the cornbread and pastries.
Got stopped by a Texas State Trooper on the way home because I had a headlight out. Good think I don't drink! He gave me a warning ticket.
