And a question... How do I set the split point away from that damned "C". I'm sure there must be a way of doing it without having to set it everytime I switch on and choose a new style etc ? or having to 'save' it with every new save.

I think you know that you can save your favourite split point position in each user program; if you want to save a setting that has to be recalled each time you switch on the instrument, go into Menu->Utility->Startup, select the favourite User Program and activate the 'Recall' button.
