Funny, I never liked Rod Stewart as a R&Rer, but I actually like the standards. Maybe it's the orchestrations, but I really do think he does this stuff better than the Rock. Subjective? Yup.
His duet with Cher makes me gag, but not because of him. I hate the way she sings.
