The 2 bar loops on the internal styles of the PSR's is not a limitation at all, and is just the way they were programmed. Its possible to create any number of bars you want in a style for any section, except the fills which require 1 measure. Although the PSR740 and models below do not offer any facility to change the time signature and number of measures in a style part (these are taken from the style you start with). It is possible though to create a style template on a pc midi sequencer which can have different time signatures or numbers of measures. By loading one of these style templates into the psr and then creating a style based on it, no longer are you imposed by 2 measures. I've created styles for the psr keyboards with up to 8 measures in the main sections and 4 in the intros and endings. Of course you can have even more, but you only have a restricted amount of memory in the psr for loading styles.
These templates are available at svpworld at http://www.svpworld.com/style_templates.htm
