I just layed my hands on the ES for the first time today... wow.. the megavoices sounded great with the arps. I played a lot of the voices. Many are the same from the original version but there are plenty of new ones.

While it is a Motif OS ( what a steep learning curve it was for me ), aside from the new features, the rest is pretty much laid out like the original, so it will be easy for me this time around.

I had already decided to upgrade to the ES, and today did nothing to change my mind. Most of the add ons are things I'll use in the studio. For live play, the original version was more than adequate.
