It would have to be moving WHILE the notes are played, correct, not just moved slightly once?
I am not moving or using the mod wheel during play.
Starkeeper[/B]No, if you move it ONCE to increase modulation, it will continue to modulate at that rate until it is moved back down. Thus, if you are hitting that wheel somehow, it could easily be the problem. Else, yep, ship it back. At high modulation, it sounds like tremelo.
Move it all the way down and play, careful not to hit it and see if your board does it again.
