You give a prospective venue a CD with demo's. They could toss it. Or they could assume many things about you that could be in err... and not in your favor.

If you offer to audition, to play a set for free or maybe an entire evening, they have your smiling face, audience interaction, all the good things about live performance. Basing their conclusion of the real you.

Just wondering if you guys think it would be beneficial to do this versus hand someone a CD.
