Well, I guess it depends a lot on the individuals that run the business where you buy your keyboard. You will notice many postings on this forum from George Kaye from Kaye's Music in Reseda and DanO1 from Guitar Center who both sell keyboards but both play them themselves and do try to offer support and a personal understanding of the instrument. But I do admit that this standard of customer support is not something you will find in all dealers. It pays to do a little investigation prior to buying, and may be worth extra travel time or expense to buy from a dealer that can offer the level of support you need.
