While it would be nice to be able to add new features the software that I am using doesn't support it. Without abandoning this BBS system completely and restarting from new with new software there really isn't a way I can add this to the current system. You can always include Yahoo Messenger names in your profile interests and use that for a live chatroom with other BBS members.
