VA7 intros and endings are rather complex; I too wish there was the possibility to choose between "normal" and "simple" intros or endings. I remember that with the Pro E Roland came out with a card with some "basic" styles with just a count-in as an intro. With the VA7 all you can do is program the keyboard to play a one- or two-beat intro with just a click and then go straight into the basic pattern without any intro, but that's all. With the endings the situation is even worse and you haven't the possibility to press the fade-out button either. Same for the break-button. To me this is one of the biggest drawbacks of the VA7 and hope that Roland finds a fix with the next OS.
