Thanks for your opinion on that Yamaha A/16. I have to agree with you too. I had a short run with one in a music store when I was up north(USA) visiting the family. I too agree about the construction of the unit. It felt quite solid compared to other models I tested. I also liked that it didn't hvae a fan
