Considering the number of new feature enhancements the PSR2100 has (over the 2000) and that it's not called the PSR3000, or even PSR2500, the model designation seems to make perfect sense. It's basically a PSR2000 plus, yet selling for the same price as the PSR2000, certainly a great sounding keyboard at a terrific value, and well worth considering if you don't already own the PSR2000.

Squeak Yep, the PSR2000 first appeared for sale in the USA in November 2001, so the PSR2000 has only been available here for a little more than a year and a half.
