I did replace my laptop. My latest is a Toshiba with a 1.73 Gig Pentium M ( mobile ) processor and 1.5 gigs of Ram. It also has a side port for the fan's air ejection and it runs so much cooler than my old one did.

As far as the processors go, I too was a little confused by the "lower" speed Mobile processors but I read enough posts at KVR that I became comfortable buying a Laptop with one. I can tell you that this laptop easily outperforms my old one which had a P4 2.8 Gig processor and 1.5 gigs of Ram. It also easily outperforms my PC, which has an Athlon 2400 and 2 gigs of Ram.

I am interested in HS2 myself. Not thrilled about having to use a dongle, but I've heard some demos and it sounds very good.
