That's the same conclusion I came to a year ago when I built the rack that holds all the goodies, incluidng the Digitech VR. In my case, the setup time is about the same--5 to 8 minutes using the Barbettas and 10 to 12 minutes using the Z-5500. The quality just was not there with the 3000s harmonizer, and I tried every imaginable combination. Sometimes you need that little extra something to achieve perfection, which in this case was the VR.
