Great questions . I am certain that the rootless chording is or will be implemented with the XD9 .
The XD9 will have options such as hard drive , vocal kit and video interface .
The navigation will be more screen intensive vs. the X1 . You will press a catagory and the sounds or styles will appear on the screen . Use the function buttons located on
the side of the display to select . The X1 navigation is completely different .
The Sd1 offers 309 styles vs . 172 on the XD9 .
The SD1 has 48 megs dedicated to ROM ,
the XD9 has 24megs .
