Bill, I may do that but not yet. All of the drivers seem to be working properly everywhere else, including on Power Tracks, VanBasco, Real Player, Creative media Souurce and Windows Media Player.

The program is hanging up pretty much on its own. But you have given me valuable info before, so maybe it's time to give this route a try too. It's just that I'm reluctant to try it - it's like pounding a nail into a wall; can't do that too easily either. Give me strength...
