You really don't have to push two buttons... Of course you'll first select the bank you want.. Then you can push any of the 4 registration buttons to recall your settings.. After you select the bank you don't have to push 2 buttons to select a registration within that bank.. What's also useful is you can set the footswitch to change banks.. Making performing a lot easier.. You just set up the banks in the order of your performance, and when you want the next bank you just press the foot switch and voila..
