I have a VA-7 and use the FC-7. Frankly, the VA-7 is a pain to choose among the 4 different style parts UNLESS you have the FC-7 foot controller. Roland left a lot of the buttons off when they designed the VA-7 and VA-76. They tried to make up for this by making the FC-7 somewhat programable. I don't know about the FC-200. But, I strongly believe you will want one of these foot controllers.
