I haven't owned a Technics since way back when I had an SXKN something or other ( maybe 650 ? ), back in the late 80's / early 90's. I purchased that one at Sam Ash in White Plains, but soon after that Technics disappeared from the traditional music stores. I was pretty impressed with it then, because it seemed to be a far cry better than it's Yamaha and Casio counterparts of that era.
I tried out a used KN5000 at a store in Scranton a couple of years ago, and I thought it sounded pretty good. I'd be interested in hearing what the 7000 can do, but it seems to be impossible to find in this area.
