The PA 300 is an smps adaptor ( switsh mode power supply ) and hence the ripple content at the output is extremely low, where as the PA 6 isin't an smps adaptor hence one will hear a 'hum' from the PSR2000/1000 speakers if PA 6 is used. PA 300 is strongly recomended. best wishes. dev
