America announced a series
of organizational changes that
begins right at the top with
the naming of a new president.
Hogan Osawa is taking on the
role, replacing Yoshi DoLDoi
moves into the role of general
manager and executive officer of
the Domestic Sales & Marketing
DivisionofYamaha Corporation,
Japan. Osawa formerly served as
president ofYamaha Electronics
Corporation (YCA)-which is
moving its Consumer Products
Divisionto become a department
of the PACdivision.
At the same time, Yamaha Music
Education System Division
General Manager Miki Yoshimori
is being replaced by Mike
Morrell as Yoshimori moves into
a role with the Yamaha Music
Foundation in Tokyo. In other
personnel changes, Terry Lewis
is now executive vice president,
YCA;Brian Jemelian is senior
vice president, Finance and Administration;
Tom Sumner was

named YEC president; Karren
Salter is now vice president and
general manager of the Customer
Financial Services Division;
Paul Calvin is vice president and
general manager of the Piano
Division; and Jay Schreiber
replaces Rick Young as general
manager of the B&O Division.
Young leaves that position to
become corporate vice president
ofYCA and general manager of
the PAC Division.
